Thus Cycles Time

Here, Silk Cotton
– black, silhouetted
by a bluely summering sky.

Soon,
it will be a bouquet
flowering lush fleshy reds.

I know.

There, Flame of the Forest
– fire flickering in day’s breeze,
a flower treed.

Soon,
this fire will catch wind and water;
even dead rock will simmer heat.

Thus cycles time.

I know.
